Curing

GA-23 series liquid silicone rubber cures quickly in high temperature environments. The curing time depends on the thickness and the curing temperature used. Contact with certain materials, such as amines, sulfur, and tin compounds, can inhibit curing.

The product should be kept at 32°C or lower in its original, unopened container. The storage period of this product is 9 months, and it can still be used after passing the re-inspection.

Available time

After mixing components A and B, the mixture has an expiration date of 48 hours at 25°C.

Application Method:

Mix and remove the air

Components A and B are supplied with filtered air and used as matching lot numbers. Mix components A and B in a 1:1 ratio. It is highly recommended to use metering and mixing equipment that conveys, meteres and mixes both components and does not penetrate into the air. If air bubbles are trapped during the mixing process, the air must be completely removed by means of a vacuum device.

Most hydrocarbon solvents remove uncured silicon. Polar solvents such as ketones and ethanol cannot be removed.
